helping young people into work experience

Students trying to find work experience need to be more systematic about it, and they need to move beyond reliance on their parents’ contacts lists. That is the thesis of a report from the Institute of Personnel and Development just released. Work experience is hugely advantageous in hard economic times, so improving young people’s chances of securing places is very important.
