Here is an opportunity for seniors to boost their CV’s in advance of university and college applications for science courses.
‘Fuselab’, a project within the Edinburgh International Science Festival, is a FREE, four-night, residential experience, at Summerhall, the city’s newest creative arts and science hub. (Sleeping accomodation is at Edinburgh First, Pollock Halls.)
The agenda? To plan the future of an uninhabited world.
It’s a hands-on conference, for 16-18-year-olds. Fuselab are looking for 80 innovative and creative minds – scientists, artists and engineers – to help develop a sustainable way of life, free from the constraints of the systems and structures we live by here on Earth.
Challenge your thinking through workshops, skills sessions, talks and games; collaborating to design, prototype and test your ideas.
There are two sessions, one running 1-5 July, and the other running 5-9 July. Applications for both sessions are open now and close on Wednesday 8 May. 40 participants will be selected per session.
