Broughton High are Scottish gymnastics champions!
Kerry Jones and her team of 4 gymnasts, Alisha Cowper-Barrie (S1), Kirsten McGregor (S3), Muirin O’Neill (S3), and Lauren Gaff (S4), travelled to Perth today to compete in the Scottish Schools Gymnastics Championships, after winning the Edinburgh Qualifier back in February. The competition was tough and the standard very high, but the Broughton girls were more than up to the challenge. The team won 1st place overall for level 2, and Alisha won the individual gold — even with broken toes!
