Does anyone have an hour to spare on Sunday? If so, the BHSA is running a cafe at the Chess Tournament at Broughton  from 10am to 4pm and need some volunteers to help out. If anyone can come along to give a hand, please email naomicrowley64@gmail.com.

A free event – Inspiring Young Scientists Showcase – is taking place at Dynamic Earth on Sunday 24th September, 10am till 4pm.

“A very special showcase designed to give you an insight into the amazing and sometimes surprising world of opportunities available through Science and Geography. Come along and get hands-on with research kit, activities and meet experts working in inspirational and exciting jobs”

“The showcase is supported by a wide range of professions working in Space research, conservation, energy production and GeoSciences. There will be an inspiring mix of role models on hand to share their journeys into science”.
