Our first event of the new school year is our AGM on Tuesday 7th September – all parents and carers are welcome to attend. The meeting will be online using Zoom – if you would like an invitation and haven’t already received the paperwork through our emailing list, please send us a message at: intouch@broughtonhighpc.org to get the meeting details.

The AGM will feature updates from the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, as well as a chance to find out more about the Parent Council and Broughton Association and vote for the committee members.

Please encourage any parents and carers you know who are new to the school to come along – it’s a great way to find out what is happening at school.

Please note the earlier than usual start time of our meeting this week, but feel free to join in later if you can’t make it for 5.30pm.

Broughton High School staff are going to have an extremely stressful and busy final term of 2020/21. The teachers will be setting assessments, invigilating, peer marking and dealing with appeals. Also the senior students will be in rather than at home on study leave which means the school will always be full.

So, Broughton High School Parent Council and Broughton High School Association are organising home baking from the parent body to let the staff know how much we appreciate the work they have done in this extremely difficult year. We plan to provide home baking each week on Monday/Tuesday for the final term starting Monday 19th April and we are looking for willing volunteers to help.
