SQA Presentation and PC meeting, Wednesday 6th February from 6.30pm
Susan Gibb, Liaison Manager of the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA), will be explaining the range of qualifications offered by schools and how this links to what appears in the August Certificate. She will also be explaining the resources available to parents and carers from the SQA website and will answer any questions.
This event will either be held in the School Theatre Space or the School Staff Room depending on the number of parents and carers attending, so please RSVP to clerk.bhspc@broughtonhighpc.org if you wish to attend. Light refreshments will be provided.
The next Broughton High School Parent Council Meeting will follow the event at 7.30pm in the School Staff Room.
As a parent or guardian, you are very welcome to attend both events.
Chess café – Sunday 3rd February – volunteers needed!
The Broughton Association are looking for volunteers to help at our cafe on Sunday 3rd February at Broughton High. We provide cafes at the regular chess tournaments held at the school – this helps raise valuable funds for extra resources, trips, support, and extra-curricular clubs and activities. You’ll find us in the Hub.

Parent Council and Broughton Association seek qualified accountant
Both the PC and the Broughton Association need to have their annual accounts independently reviewed by a qualified accountant. We are currently seeking an accountant to help – is there anyone among the parents/carers/friends of Broughton who could step in for this important (but not too onerous) annual task?
