Leith School of Art Foundation Course — applications still open

leith school of art logo

Applications are still open for the Foundation Course at the Leith School of Art, in case any students are still undecided on what they will be doing next year. Please note that the School accept students based on their portfolio rather than their qualifications. They also have an Assisted Places Scheme. This is open to any students who would find fees genuinely difficult to pay. In 2015/16 they were able to support over 20 students on their range of year-long courses.  Normally the maximum amount awarded is up to 50% of the total tuition fees.

Here is a chart showing where Foundation Course students from this year have been accepted, and here is more information on the Assisted Places Scheme.

If you have any questions or would like an information pack to be sent to you, please contact Sophia Scott, Student Registrar, at sophia@leithschoolofart.co.uk.

Septemberfest 2016!

septemberfest logo

It’s here again, Septemberfest at Broughton High School, Saturday 24th September, from 11am to 4pm!

This year it’s a Brazilian theme, with Samba music and dance, and Olympic sports tasters to complement all the old favourite attractions. Septemberfest brings the community together for a positive fun day for all ages. There is no admission fee, and many of the activities are free.

Planning has already started, and we’re taking bookings for the Craft Fair. If you would like a stall — or if you just want to help out — e-mail us at septemberfestbhs@gmail.com.  Stalls cost £20 for businesses and £10 for charities and non-profits.

And don’t forget to visit our Septemberfest Facebook page!
