Final funding for ‘Young Applicants in Schools’ short course scheme
This is the last year that the Scottish Government will fund full-time students in secondary education to study additional short courses, such as those offered by the Open University.
What should you do if you’re interested in securing funding for one of these?
Apply for an ILA £200 account NOW. You can phone 0808 100 1090 to request an application form. Or you can apply online. If you are applying online, you need to let them know that you are working but earning less than £22,000 per annum.
You’ll need to move quickly. After 18th June, the ILA will not issue any more application forms. Yours should be completed and returned to them by 28th July at the very latest. Application forms received after this date will not be considered.
