See our Septemberfest flashmob!

Just in case you missed it, here’s the fantastic finale to our Septemberfest this year. Great dancing, great fun! No wonder the whole city comes to Broughton High School events.

Concert Band Festival at school this Sunday — call for volunteers

music notes

There is a ‘concert band festival’ at the school on Sunday 3rd November from 9:00 until 19:00. We’ve been asked to run a cafe at it, and would appreciate some more parent volunteers helpers. It’s not an onerous task — it just means serving tea and coffee for an hour or two on Sunday. It’s also a great opportunity for parents to get together and get to know the school better as well as helping to enhance the reputation of Broughton.

If you’d like to get onto this rota, please contact hughduffy@blueyonder.co.uk.

reminder: AGM tonight, with S1 parents get-together first!

reminder

Don’t forget, the Parent Council’s annual general meeting is tonight, at the school, at 7:00 p.m. For S1 parents who want to meet each other, there’s a social hour beforehand, at 6:00 (logically enough).

You’re invited to read the reports and accounts beforehand, online, for the detailed view of everything that’s going on.

See you there!

it’s the countdown to Septemberfest!

Remember, it’s Saturday the 21st, from 11:00 to 4:00, at the school, and admission is FREE! There’s lots of things to do and see, and there are many ways to get involved and help, too. If you’d like to be a part, let us know, at intouch@broughtonhighpc.org!

Parent Council AGM on 25 September — with an S1 parents social

meeting

Please come to this year’s Parent Council General Meeting, at the school on Wednesday 25th September, 7-8 pm, for reports on prior-year activities, elections, and lots of opportunities to join the Council or one of its sub-groups, like Management Support, the Broughton Association, or Communications.

Prior to the meeting, for S1 parents, is a wine-and-cheese social, from 6-7 pm. It’s very informal, but very useful for getting to know the school and all your fellow parents!

See you there!
